July 19, 2024 – a day that felt like a digital apocalypse! A day in history when a part of the digital world paused for hours.
An unfortunate, accidental CrowdStrike outage triggered a global BSOD catastrophe, turning screens into a haunting blue. 🔵 Flights were grounded, businesses stalled, health services were disrupted, and customs jammed, among other chaos.
The dust has settled, and we wanted to ask you: How was the past week?
We totally understand your pain! 🙁You were crushed by employees with laptops banging on your doors.
Yet, amid the turmoil, you calmly typed away, rebooted the Windows recovery environment, restored services, and brought order back to normal!
So, on this special day dedicated to you, our Sysadmins, we want to shout from the rooftops: Thank you!

- Who else has the patience to handle users blaming their mistakes on technology?
- Who else would sacrifice their weekends & holidays to ensure our systems are up and running?
