Microsoft has planned this maintenance to enhance the reliability and performance of Viva Engage. While maintenance is underway, Viva Engage will switch to read-only mode.
During these times, you can browse posts, communities, storylines, and messages, but won’t be able to make changes. In clear, you won’t be able to:
- Create new posts
- Reply or react to conversations
- Post to your storyline
- Create or edit communities
If you try, you’ll see error messages like:

Microsoft is spreading maintenance over three Saturdays in September 2025. Each maintenance window will last about 12 hours starting at 16:00 UTC:
